I’d like to make my own tick/black fly repellent for my dog, but I am wondering if any of the common all-natural ingredients are dangerous to canines. Most recipes consist of lemon/lemongrass, rosemary, thyme, basil, bay leaf, catnip, cloves, and aloe vera gel. Vital oils utilized are rose, eucalyptus, lavender and cedar.
