    Hi,
I thing you should go for homemade food only because every ready made food has some chemicals.Kumar(ahappytails)

Probably feeding raw has fewer additives. Not sure about the price. I imagine it would be pretty expensive.

The most natural food one can feed is a raw diet. The cost of feeding raw can vary depending on where you live. I know some raw feeders have said it can be just as much if not less then feeding a high quality kibble. It makes sense if the price of ones high quality kibble is going to be equal to or less then feeding Raw then one might as well just feed raw.

In Raw Dog Food book the author went from spending a little over 100$ a month on food she had four dogs all at least I’d say 70 pound or more. When she started feeding raw she averaged about 85$ a month she did say there were months she would spend less or more it really just depends. She also said it take shopping around seeing what stores have the best prices and stock up if there is a good sale.

If feeding Raw is not feasible then suggest you go to this site and http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com find a kibble that is at least a 4 star rating but preferable a 6 star. Try to find preferable a grain free or one that consists of very little grain kibble.

Raw or home cooked if you buy organic grass fed meat. The general meat for human consumption is full of crap people shouldn’t eat either.

Next would be the holistic kibbles: Innova, Wellness, Fromm, Solid Gold, etc
