Yes, I but confident wouldn’t give him a whole lot. You may have a mess!

Add:
If your canine is not ready to defecate, he might have a blockage and by offering pumpkin, you might do more harm than very good and you need to look for the assistance of your vet.

Q&A: Has anyone tried Tiki Cat canned cat food? It has been a blessing for my CRF cat!!!He had almost quit eating.?

Question by Kitty Mom: Has anyone tried Tiki Cat canned cat food? It has been a blessing for my CRF cat!!!He had almost quit eating.?
I really thought I would be putting him down soon. Then I found this food at my Pet Supply store. He is a seafood cat, and these are all natural foods, with good quality seafood. He is really doing much better. You can check it out on the internet, and there are some great reviews. If anyone is having a similar problem, I would highly recommend trying it.He also gets fluids 2x a week with a vitamin B Complex shot, to help increase his appetite.
I know that seafood is not the ideal diet, but I am just so glad to find something that he will eat!! This food is all natural with no by-product. It says that all the seafood comes from the South Pacific where there is much less mercury, etc. Please check on the internet, it says that a lot of vets are recommending this food for cats that have refused to eat.
Yes, I know that I could be giving the fluids at home, as I have been watching, and they are very willing to have me do this. I am just a little hesitant, as he does so well with the vet techs, and not sure how he would react having me do it.He has been getting the B- Complex shots also. It is not real expensive to have them do it, although, they said it would be less expensive if I would do it. Maybe in the future. but for now I am satisfied taking him.

Actually, seafood is high in phosphorous which is not a good thing for a CRF cat to eat! If you are going to continue with this food please consider getting a phosphorous binder pronto.

Note that you can do fluids at home, you don’t have to pay a vet to do them.

I would also not suggest that fish/seafood make up a majority in any cat’s diet, as it is not species appropriate, is high in phosphorous, can cause allergies and may contain elevated heavy metals…
