Using AvoDerm Natural dog food with added..?

Hi! :) Well, my dog Angel has really bad skin problems. She’s had them since she was a baby and we’ve tried alot of things to help her..but I suddenly had an idea. I know that AvoDerm Natural dog food is supposed to be good for dogs with skin problems, and they have a special brand for senior dogs which is what Angel would need. Also, I know that some things found in fish can be really soothing to the skin as well. So, if I got my baby AvoDerm Natural Senior food, and added a capsule of Fish Oil supplement into it every feeding, (we only feed her once a day, everday ofcourse, around 5-530) would this be acceptable and safe for her? Thank you! :)

Has any one ever tried "Natural Way" natural dog food?

I have been feeding my 4 month old Goldendoodle IAMS Puppy Formula (which is what my breeder was feeding her). However, I am not particularly happy with the ingredients in it because it has a lot of by products and contains a lot of grains such as corn.

My groomer told me that corn can cause allergies in dogs, and it can cause a "doggie smell" that is almost constant… as well as skin and digestion problems.

So I have been researching dog foods, and I came across a brand that is supposedly "endorsed" by Lassie, and it is called "Natural Way". The first five ingredients seemed pretty good…

Lamb Meal, Rice Flour, Rice Bran, Ground Rice, Chicken Meal,…

I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what do you think of it??

You can view more info about this food at http://www.lassie.com/naturalway/index.html.

NOTE: This is not a debate about the best dog food… or why IAMS is good or bad… or anything like this. I am simply looking to find out if anyone has tried this food!!
Like I said, the ingredients in "Natural Way" seemed "healthier" that the IAMS. I found that IAMS had a lot of corn and by products while Natural Way did not. I am also wondering if anyone eliminated corn for health problems in their dog?

Is Natural Balance good dog food for my dogs?

The first ingredients are:
Potatoes, Duck, Potato Protein, Canola oil (preserved with natural mixed tocopherols) , potato fiber, etc…

Whats tocopherols?

I bought the small bites because 2 of my dogs are about 10 pounds. Can I still feed the small bites to my 30 pound dog?

Is it true that it also helps with allergies or prevents allergies?

Natural balance dry dog food?

Is this good dog food? I think I bought the original Natural balance dog food with Chicken in it. I wanted to try and feed my dog "healthy food with no fillers" for once to see if they like it, but they don’t seem to like it. When I feed them Purina dog chow, they seem to like that more. I guess my dogs like the cheap stuff because it taste better like some people who like fast food better than expensive/fancy food.

California Natural dog food?

How do you guys like California Natural for your dogs? My dog (5 year old cocker spaniel) has been on homemade food for a couple months, but she doesn’t have her normal energy with it (she even gets a vitamin each day)…will California Natural (chicken meal and rice low fat) give her more energy possibly?
